Jennifer Malone, A.I.C.P.

Overview

Jennifer is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, specializing in land use and long-range planning. Prior to joining GBH, Jennifer spent 12 years of her career in local government and land use planning, most recently with the Hillsborough County City-County Planning Commission. In her role at the Planning Commission, Jennifer managed all aspects of coordination with the City of Tampa on zoning and comprehensive land use matters appearing before the commission and Tampa City Council. Additionally, she managed the multi-year project to update the City of Tampa Comprehensive Plan for the first time since 2016.

Jennifer received her M.S. in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University in 2014 and has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) since 2017. Jennifer previously served as the Hillsborough Area Director for the Sun Coast Section of APA Florida and held leadership roles as an active member of the Junior League of Tampa.

Jennifer and her husband live in the Channel District with their young daughter. Jennifer enjoys practicing yoga, walking to the amenities along the Riverwalk and Water Street with her family, and her monthly book club with friends.
