Jennifer Malone, A.I.C.P.

Overview

Jennifer is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, specializing in land use and long-range planning. Before joining GBH, she spent 12 years in local government planning, including 10 years with the Hillsborough County City-County Planning Commission. There she led coordination with the City of Tampa on zoning and comprehensive land use matters coming before the Planning Commission and Tampa City Council, and she managed the multi-year effort to update the City of Tampa Comprehensive Plan, the first full update since 2016.

Jennifer earned her M.S. in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University in 2014 and has been AICP-certified since 2017. She previously served as Hillsborough Area Director for the Sun Coast Section of APA Florida and has held leadership roles with the Junior League of Tampa.

Jennifer and her husband live in Seminole Heights with their young daughter. Outside the office, she practices yoga, works her way through the neighborhood's restaurant scene, and rarely misses her monthly book club.
