Kami Corbett

Overview

Kami Corbett is a land use, zoning, and governmental approvals attorney, representing developers, builders, and property owners through the entitlement process across Tampa Bay and Central Florida.

Kami has practiced land use law from nearly every vantage point, serving as a city attorney, directing due diligence and entitlements for one of the nation's largest public homebuilders, and in private practice, including nearly a decade at an Am Law 100 firm and several years leading land use matters at a respected Tampa Bay firm before joining Gardner Brewer Hudson. That breadth of experience, paired with established relationships across the local development community, allows her to identify risk early and chart efficient paths to approval.

Kami is currently ranked Band 2 in Real Estate: Zoning/Land Use (Florida) by Chambers USA, a distinction she has held for five consecutive years, and has been named to Best Lawyers in America, Legal 500's U.S. City Elite, and Florida Super Lawyers.

Kami is active with the Tampa Bay Builders Association, where she currently serves as an Ex-Officio Board member, having previously served on the Executive Board as Past Secretary and Past First Vice President. She is also involved with CREDA (NAIOP) Tampa Bay, where she has served as Past President and Past Vice President of Government Affairs, and is a graduate of Leadership Tampa through the Tampa Chamber of Commerce.
